So, I went to Hastings today, and found some stuff. Hastings is a geeky type store with merchandise of pop culture stuff, DVDs, video games, books, and more. It's a very cool store, but it's unfortunately going out of business by October. I really wish I found out about this place earlier. Oh well. Anyway, on to what I found.

I went to the books section, and found Goosebumps!

Here's what they had:

  • Welcome to Dead House (Classic Goosebumps)
  • The Blob That Ate Everyone (Classic Goosebumps)
  • Monster Blood (Classic Goosebumps)
  • Attack of the Graveyard Ghouls (Classic Goosebumps)
  • The Abominable Snowman of Pasadena (Classic Goosebumps)
  • Ghost Beach (Classic Goosebumps)
  • A Shocker on Shock Street (Classic Goosebumps)
  • How I Met My Monster
  • Planet of the Lawn Gnomes
  • Night of the Puppet People
  • Beware, the Snowman (2006 reprint, brand new)
  • Say Cheese and Die Screaming!
  • Goosebumps (the movie) Activity Book
  • Goosebumps 3 Pack Thriller DVD (Monster Blood, Night of the Living Dummy, Say Cheese and Die)

So which books did I get? None. I was tempted to get the Classic Goosebumps version of The Blob That Ate Everyone (because I really like the cover art) and the 3 Pack Thriller DVD, but decided to save my money. I was pretty disappointed to find that the only 2003 - 2007 reprint they had was Beware, the Snowman, because I already have that one. Oh well.

The reason why I didn't walk out with anything was because, I don't care for Classic Goosebumps or Goosebumps Most Wanted. I want the original series with Tim Jacobus' cover art. Maybe one day I'll start collecting Classic Goosebumps and Goosebumps Most Wanted, but for now I want the originals. So yeah. eBay, here I come!
