TA creature that takes the form of a ravenous fox, supposedly kidnaps one camper every year. Near the end of the book, it is revealed that Laura Carter, a girl that Dustin met in the woods, was actually The Snatcher in disguise. |

Todd and Billy are two briefly mentioned campers. Dustin observes the two boys shooting arrows at each other. It is revealed near the end of the book that these boys were able to do this because they were ghosts. |
