The Mutant Plants are the creations of Dr. Brewer's Clone. The Clone has been crossing human and animal DNA to make a bunch of mutant plants.
After Dr. Brewer's clone was slain by Margaret, Dr. Brewer burns the mutant plants in his backyard.
