Mark Nagata illustrated the covers for books two through twenty-four in the Give Yourself Goosebumps series.
Covers
Similar to Tim Jacobus, the artist for the main Goosebumps series, Mark Nagata used very bright colors in his illustrations to create vibrant and saturated covers. According to Nagata, Scholastic wanted him to create covers in a style similar to those of Tim Jacobus. As the series progressed, Nagata worked to incorporate more elements of his art style onto covers.
The first book illustrated by Nagata was Tick Tock, You're Dead!, and the final book to feature an illustration by Nagata was Lost in Stinkeye Swamp.
While the cover for the twenty-fifth book in the series, Shop Till You Drop...Dead!, was illustrated by Craig White, Nagata was still commissioned to create several concept designs for the book prior to its release.
