Similar to Tim Jacobus, the artist for the main Goosebumps series, Mark Nagata used very bright colors in his illustrations to create vibrant and saturated covers.
The first book illustrated by Nagata was Tick Tock, You're Dead!, and the final book to be illustrated by him was Lost in Stinkeye Swamp.
