Ginger Wald is the main protagonist of the forty-third Goosebumps book, The Beast from the East.

She is a nature camp surviver, so in her mind, being lost in the woods is nothing. While exploring, she and her identical twin brothers, Nat and Pat, explore the woods, but they end up in a very bizarre part, yellow grass, purple bushes, and trees the size of skyscrapers, when the siblings meet the blue Beasts, that's were the real problems begin. The Beast plays tag with the children, and they do the best they can to survive, because if they lose, they become the beasts next meal. In the end, they make it to a spooky tree, which apparently is the end line, they win the game, and are able to escape.

Ginger is a determined girl, she'll make sure her goal is reached, and her actions are always determined by her survival skills, always pointing out that they'll make it because she's a Nature survivor.
