  • In France, this book is the 66th book of the original Goosebumps series. Its title was translated into "Mort de peur", which is an expression meaning, figuratively, "petrified with fear" or "greatly afraid", but literaly translates to "dead with fear". 



  • The title is a reference to the 1986 horror film The Fly.
